- 24/5'7"/human
- loud, brash, (semi-)reckless, a colossal smartass and almost completely fearless - also has a short temper and is a bit of an adrenaline junkie
- likes: kung-fu movies, motorcycle racing, tinkering, cheeseburgers, fighting
- dislikes: being cold, being defined by her bloodline rather than her actions, needles, betrayal (thanks Jin, you twat)
- has multiple scars on her entire body, crisscrossing her arms, knuckles, back - also prominent are the ones that go across the bridge of her nose and over her right eyebrow - pretty well-built and is a (mostly) self-taught fighter, mostly proficient in hand-to-hand and improvised weaponry
- Molly's descended from a long line of hunters (with a couple mages interspersed in there by blood or marriage), including one who ended up becoming a vampire lord over the centuries (and unknown to her until after they had met, is one of the most powerful vampire lords living today - though he's a pain in the ass to work with even on his best days)
- a "certifiable punkass" for most of her life - skipping school (it's a miracle she graduated, really), picking fights, street races, sneaking out for said races/fights, etc
- at first her family didn't want her to get into the business, but circumstances (and her own stubborn nature) quite literally had it drop into her lap
- discovered her ability to use "stance magic" to shift the properties of her attacks as a teenager while trying to defend herself from what she thought was an ordinary thug, turned out to be possessed by a demon
- her father (a detective who worked with the local hunters as a liaison between them and the police) wasn't impressed and worried over her for most of her teenage years, Molly's mother had left them when she was little
- eventually she (barely) graduates high school and strikes out on her own as a private investigator and huntress - inherited her father's detective instincts and is surprisingly observant despite seeming oblivious at times (and it's from his side of the family that she inherited her abilities from as well)
- was given the corded pendant that she always wears by a family friend - the stone also helps to hone her energy-sensing skills - an invaluable asset both on and off the job (and almost always wears it as a result)
- eventually ends up being hired for a job in Europe that has her meeting a lot of different people, including a bartender-turned-mage, her eventual ex who tried to get her killed, a paramilitary group trying to investigate an arms dealer working with the same cult that she was trying to crack open, and even her vampire lord ancestor
- this particular job involved trying to stop a demon-summoning cult from essentially trying to kickstart the Apocalypse, and Molly's heritage and connection to the vampire lord is revealed during this entire six-month debacle
- afterward, she's being scouted out by several hunter groups to help lead them - despite not really showing much of any sort of enthusiasm for it
- really only agrees to one of them because they sound like they need the help, she can still get in contact with most of the others she met and actually got along with during the whole thing, plus it allows her to actually try working toward something resembling a peace treaty between differing factions. (even then she's really moreso leader in name only, which actually doesn't bother her as much as some would think)
- in fact, she starts working alongside a different, more idealistic vampire lord to work toward that goal. it's. getting there.
